Our story

Built by barbers

This is not just an app. It is the future of barbershops.

My name is Adrián Rodríguez. Before creating Yeasy, I was a barber. And deep down, I still am.

But this story doesn’t begin with me alone. The idea for Yeasy was born from a conversation between barbers. From a vision that Sergio Pascual had, my partner, also a barber and a reference in the industry, who decided to count on me to turn that idea into reality.

Adrián Rodríguez, founder of Yeasy

It all started behind a chair

I started out in barbering at 17, training at an academy while cutting hair for free at home to get better.

At 19 I opened my first barbershop in Salar, a small village in Granada. There I learned what it really means to build something from scratch.

Long days. Loads of clients every day. I even remember one day when I cut 31 people before my village’s fiestas.

That pace teaches you something you won’t find in any book:

Talent brings you clients. But organisation gives you a business.

And that was exactly what the industry was missing.

An incredible industry... with the wrong tools

Barbering was growing. The standard was rising. The community was getting stronger. But digital tools were still generic.

They weren’t made for barbers. They didn’t understand our reality. They didn’t understand our pace.

I did. Because I knew what it was to be on your feet for 10 hours straight. I knew the stress of a packed diary. I knew what it was to want to grow without the right tools.

And Sergio knew it too. Because we had both lived exactly the same problems.

So we decided to build something different. Not just another app. The tool we would have wanted when we were full-time barbers.

Betting everything

At one of the best moments of my career, when I was giving international training sessions and working with artists, actors and footballers, I made a hard decision: to stop cutting hair.

Plenty of people told me: “You’re mad”, “You’re at your peak”, “You can’t give this up now”.

But I knew one thing: if we wanted to change the industry, we had to bet everything. And we did.

The years nobody saw

From 2019 to 2024 we worked on Yeasy without launching it. Years of investing our own money. Years of working with no visible results. Years of believing in something that didn’t exist yet.

No investors. No funding rounds. No shortcuts. Just work.

There were mistakes. There were delays. There were tough moments. But there was never any doubt about the mission.

Because when you know the real problem... you know the solution has to exist.

The moment that changed everything

I’ll never forget launch day. I remember calling Manuel, a key member of the tech team, as we watched the first sign-ups come in. Seeing barbershops start to trust something we had spent years building was emotional.

We burst into tears. Because we understood something: we weren’t building software. We were building something the industry needed.

The first barbershop to trust Yeasy

The first barbershop to use Yeasy was Label's, in Talavera de la Reina, my friend Izan's barbershop.

He was one of the first people to trust the project when we were still improving the platform. He gave us real feedback, helped us spot improvements and was part of the early process.

That’s how Yeasy has been built: by listening to real barbers. Because Yeasy wasn’t born in an office. It was born inside real barbershops.

The invisible sacrifice

The hardest part wasn’t the money. It was disappearing from the spotlight to build something that would change the industry.

Going from the daily reward of clients to a long-term project. When you cut hair you get constant dopamine. Every 30 minutes someone gets up happy and thanks you. That doesn’t exist in tech.

But when you see that what you’ve built is starting to help hundreds of barbershops... you understand the sacrifice was worth it.

A barber who never stopped being a barber

Today I don’t cut hair because Yeasy needs all my energy. But I’m still a barber.

Because being a barber isn’t just cutting. It’s looking after people. It’s boosting self-esteem. It’s building trust. It’s creating community.

And that’s exactly what defines Yeasy.

Why Yeasy exists

Yeasy exists because barbers deserve more. They deserve technology that lives up to them. They deserve fair prices. They deserve real support. They deserve tools made by someone who understands their day-to-day.

Not companies that only want to charge more.

Our philosophy has always been clear: barbers first. Business second.

Because if you truly help the industry... growth comes on its own.

Real impact on the industry

From the start it was clear to us that Yeasy shouldn’t only be a tool, but also an engine of growth for the industry. That’s why we decided to go beyond software.

In 2024 we organised our first big event for barbers. It was the first time we had done anything like it and we didn’t know what to expect. Even so, the event was a success and confirmed something important: the industry needed to come together.

A year later we took a much bigger step. In May 2025 we organised Showcase Madrid, bringing together more than 800 barbers and professionals from different countries. It was the biggest barbering event ever held in Spain and one of the biggest in Europe to date.

That event marked a before and after for the industry. That day we understood that Yeasy was no longer just a platform. It was an active part of the industry’s growth.

Industry recognition

In 2024 Yeasy won the award for Best management software for barbershops at the Soy Barbudo awards.

A recognition that carries special value because it comes from the very industry we want to help.

But beyond the awards, what matters is still the same: to keep building the tool that barbers truly need.

More than software

But Yeasy isn’t an app. It’s a mindset. It’s evolution. It’s professionalisation. It’s the new generation of barbershops that understand that talent without organisation has a limit.

This is a movement

We don’t want to be just another tool. We want to be the standard.

We want that in 10 years, when someone talks about the professionalisation of barbering, Yeasy is part of that story. Not out of ego. But because the industry deserves something better.

Our mission

Our mission is simple: to help barbers make a better living from their craft.

To give them tools to earn more. To work better. To run more organised businesses. To professionalise the industry.

Because this industry gave us everything. And now we feel the responsibility to give something back.

This is just the beginning

Yeasy is not the end of a road. It’s the beginning of something much bigger. We are building the future of barbershops.
